To take control of their water flows, reduce the risk of leaks, and streamline their water reading processes, Evolv is now implementing Smartvatten's solution across almost their entire property portfolio. The company is connecting around 50 properties to Smartvatten's system for efficient water management and damage prevention measures. Evolv is part of Slättö and represents Slättö’s strategy within warehouse, logistics, and light industrial properties.
Andreas Josefsson, Commercial Property Manager at Evolv, sees this as an opportunity to monitor and reduce water consumption but, most importantly, to prevent leaks and water damage.
“Several properties have had manual readings of their water meters, which is both inefficient and time-consuming. Now, our technicians no longer have to manually check water meters, and we can see any abnormal water consumption first thing in the morning. This helps us detect unnecessary leaks immediately, such as a toilet that is continuously running,” explains Andreas.
In addition to more efficient processes for reading water meters, it also provides peace of mind with an alert system for abnormal water flow that is directly connected to our emergency response team. This helps us minimize water damage in the buildings, and with the collected data, we can address minor leaks and prevent major water damage. Smartvatten is a strong complement to our routines and helps us become even more efficient and achieve our ambitious sustainability goals, he adds.
